This sixth and final Power Session is part of their 2009 Franchise Performance series of Webinars, Best Practices in Franchise Operations to Kick-Start System Performance and Profitability. This final session of the series will be held as an interview panel discussion with these experienced franchisors. The interview will be interactive and open for questions from participants as panel members give valuable insight and shared best practices from their own franchise systems. The session is on Thursday, September 17th from 4-5pm EST.

About the Presenters

Ricardo Arevalo, President & CEO, Aussie Pet Mobile
Ricardo Arevalo was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Aussie Pet Mobile on July 1, 2007. From June 2002 through June 2006 Mr. Arevalo was President / Owner of Wall Street Institute Spain, a franchise consisting of 168 language centers, throughout Spain which he turned around through consolidation and an image overhaul. From 1997 until 2002, Mr Arevalo was President of Wall Street Institute International, a division of Sylvan Learning Systems, in Baltimore, Maryland where he grew the franchise base by 140% to 450 worldwide franchises and grew revenues by 144% to $220 million. Mr. Arevalo’s early work experience between 1978 and 1989 came from Circle K Convenience Stores, in Tampa, Florida, where he worked through the management ranks to his first Vice President of Operations position. Mr. Arevalo holds a bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Brian Spindel, President & COO, Postnet Postal & Business Services
Brian Spindel co-founded PostNet International Franchise Corporation in 1992. As President and Chief Operating Officer of PostNet, Brian is currently directly responsible for the development and operation of domestic PostNet franchised locations including franchise support, communications programs and technology initiatives. Brian holds the designation of Certified Franchise Executive (CFE); he frequently is a panelist at International Franchise Association conferences and conventions. Brian has served as the Chair of the IFA’s Technology Committee, and is currently a member of the Research Committee and serves on the IFA Educational Foundation’s Board of Trustees.

Dan Steward, President, Pillar To Post
Dan joined Pillar To Post as President in September 2004 with the goal to support the success of our Franchisees and accelerate the growth of the Pillar To Post brand. The ultimate goals are straight forward: happy, successful Franchisees who are meeting their goals and proud to be part of Pillar To Post and for Pillar To Post to be the dominant and most respected brand in the home inspection industry.
