The Honest-1 Auto Care franchise opportunity is a general service shop, offering primarily oil changes, brake checks, and other basic services — but two things distinguish the garage from competitors. Franchise Mentorship Programs

by FBR

"Mentoring is a relationship in which experienced people (mentors) share their time and knowledge with those (protégés) who are willing to perform the work required to become successful."

In the franchise world, franchisees are introduced to the system on a day to day basis, and may not have all the knowledge necessary to set off on their own right away. The IFA's (International Franchise Association) Franchise Relations Committee wants franchisees to feel at ease in which ever system they choose to establish, and encourage franchisors to set up their own mentoring programs to help new franchisees transition smoother into that system. The committee has developed a program guide that franchisors can follow when establishing their own mentor groups. By clicking here, you're able to view the guide and take the next steps towards developing a mentor program for your franchise!

We would like to hear any ideas you may have on ways to set up successful mentoring programs, so please join the discussion in our LinkedIn group. We would also like to give a special thanks to the IFA's Franchise Relations Committee for constantly providing tips on how to improve relationships within the franchise community.
