KITTERY, Maine (July 14, 2009) – Franchise Business Review, a national franchise market research firm based in Kittery, Maine, announced today a series of Webinar workshops produced in conjunction with Arment Dietrich, Inc., one of the country’s fastest growing boutique communication agencies, specializing in social media.

The Webinar series, entitled Frantelligence: Social Media Success, features a complimentary Webinar as a general introduction to social media for franchisors and franchisees, followed by a multi-week Webinar series focusing on the use of social media in franchising. The complimentary introduction Webinar session is on Wednesday, July 29. A franchise marketing and communication track, beginning on Tuesday, Aug. 11, focuses on using social media to connect with customers and build the brand. There will also be a business development and franchise recruitment track beginning on Thursday, Aug. 13, focusing on the use of social media to recruit and retain franchisee candidates.

“Social media is completely changing the way people use the Internet and interact with both information and each other,” stated Franchise Business Review President, Eric Stites. “Our goal is to help franchisors and franchisees get a solid grasp of how social media can really make a difference for their bottom line. The vast majority of people are just playing with this stuff right now but aren’t quite sure how it can really help them grow their business. That’s why we’ve teamed up with the social media experts at Arment Dietrich…to illustrate some real-life examples of how a few franchise companies are using social media today to create a strong competitive advantage.”

Arment Dietrich CEO, Gini Dietrich, is well known in the franchise sector as the guru of social media, with thousands of followers on sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and on her own blog entitled The Fight Against Destructive Spin. Arment Dietrich has experienced significant growth over the last few years, with the majority of growth coming as a result of social networking. Gini shares her expertise in using social media to communicate, build brands, and grow businesses in the Frantelligence Webinar series.

“Social media is taking everyone by storm right now, creating endless opportunities to connect and communicate with consumers – especially for franchises,” says Dietrich. “This Webinar series is a great stepping stone for franchisors and franchisees, illustrating not only how to use social media to build brands, but also why it’s important.”

Paul Segreto, president, CEO, and founder of franchisEssentials, and a franchise marketing and development expert, also shares his insights in the Webinar series, focusing on how to use social media to improve and grow business development.

The Frantelligence: Social Media Success Webinar series is targeted to senior executives in the franchise industry with the goal of helping them develop a strategic social media plan for their companies. In addition to senior executives, marketing, communication, and franchise development staff are encouraged to attend as well. For more information and full registration details, visit Our Website!
