Jim and David Petty of Austin, TX Receive Prestigious ‘Franchisee of the Year’ Award

Austin, TX – In recognition of outstanding performance, leadership and commitment to excellence in the PostNet franchise system, the International Franchise Association (IFA) honored Austin, TX PostNet franchisees, Jim and David Petty, with the coveted ‘Franchisee of the Year’ award.

“The Petty’s have proven themselves year after year as dedicated franchisees who do what it takes to achieve tremendous results; they serve as a great inspiration for the entire PostNet franchise system,” said Steve Greenbaum, CEO of PostNet. “We are exceedingly proud that the IFA recognized Jim and David as exceptional franchisees and individuals.”

David, a former real estate agent, and Jim, a former corporate executive, transitioned to entrepreneurship with the hope of finding a business opportunity that would allow them to grow professionally. In fact, Jim came out of retirement in 2000 to pursue the PostNet franchise opportunity with his son, David. Both say PostNet has given them the opportunity to utilize the skills learned during their former careers, and offered the opportunity to grow as entrepreneurs.

“It is truly an honor to receive this award and to be part of a growing and evolving franchise system,” David said. “We couldn’t have achieved this tremendous recognition without the support of the PostNet home office, and we hope that we can serve as mentors for other PostNet franchisees into the future.”

Since opening their PostNet franchise in 2002, the Petty’s location has evolved along with the rest of the PostNet system to meet the changing needs of small business owners and busy consumers. The company attributes its continued growth to constant innovation of its design, print, copy and shipping products and services.
