Social Media Webinar series offers valuable marketing insight to connect well with customers

by Franchise Business Review

KITTERY, Maine (August 11, 2009) – Franchise Business Review, a national franchise market research firm based in Kittery, Maine, announces four important marketing track sessions in their Frantelligence series of Webinar workshops, Social Media Success: Connecting with your Customers Using Social Media. It is produced in conjunction with Arment Dietrich, Inc., one of the country’s fastest growing boutique communication agencies, and Paul Segreto, founder of franchisEssentials, a perceptive franchise and social media blog.

The Marketing Track Webinars are part of a series, entitled Frantelligence: Social Media Success, and are focused on learning how to build a strategy and plan for marketing and communication, how to execute that plan and analyze results, and how to handle a social media crisis with your brand if needed. It is in conjunction with another multi-week Webinar series focusing on the development use of social media in franchising. The marketing Webinar sessions begin on Tuesday, August 11th and will explore first how to do a strategic assessment of your current social media presence. The sessions run for four consecutive Thursdays, September 17th and 24th, and October 1st and 8th. Each session will run from 1 – 2 PM EDT.

“Social media is completely changing the way people use the Internet and interact with both information and each other,” stated Franchise Business Review President, Eric Stites. “Our goal is to help franchisors and franchisees get a solid grasp of how social media can really make a difference for their bottom line. The vast majority of people are just playing with this stuff right now but aren’t quite sure how it can really help them grow their business.”

Arment Dietrich CEO, Gini Dietrich, is well known in the franchise sector as the guru of social media, with thousands of followers on sites like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and on her own blog entitled The Fight Against Destructive Spin. Arment Dietrich has experienced significant growth over the last few years, with the majority of growth coming as a result of social networking. Gini shares her expertise in using social media to communicate, build brands, and grow businesses in the Frantelligence Webinar series.

Paul Segreto, president, CEO, and founder of franchisEssentials, and a franchise marketing and development expert, also shares his insights in the Webinar series, focusing on how to use social media to improve and grow business development.

The Frantelligence: Social Media Success Webinar series is targeted to senior executives in the franchise industry with the goal of helping them develop a strategic social media plan for their companies. In addition to senior executives, marketing, communication, and franchise development staff are encouraged to attend as well.
