The Psychology of the Franchise Relationship
Franchise Business Review and Greg Nathan
to share tips and strategies during Franchise Performance Webinar Series
September 2 – September 17

PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire (September 9, 2009) – Franchise Business Review, a national franchise market research firm based in Portsmouth, NH, announces the fourth in their six operational sessions released last week, The Psychology of the Franchise Relationship, presented by Greg Nathan, President & CEO, Franchise Relationships.

This fourth Power Session is part of their 2009 Franchise Performance series of Webinars, Best Practices in Franchise Operations to Kick-Start System Performance and Profitability. Greg will touch on important subjects and focus on helping participants answer crucial questions based on psychological understanding. Some of the topics being discussed are ways to pull your team together to deliver on brand promise, understanding what really makes your franchisees tick, and how you can keep your franchisees positive and focused. The session is on Thursday, September 10th from 4-5pm EST.

“When it comes to building healthy franchise relationships the importance of the little things never ceases to amaze me. We need to remember that the franchise relationship is not a contract just as electricity is not a power point. The contract is there to remind you that you have a relationship and to give you formal access to it. The power of franchising comes not from the contract but from the relationship behind the contract,” states Greg Nathan. “When it comes down to it I have found from 20 years of researching this topic that an attitude of respect and basic listening skills are a franchisors most powerful weapons of influence for creating a healthy franchising culture.”

The series is being produced by Franchise Business Review, with sessions presented by seven executive franchise professionals, along with Greg Nathan, including John Hayes, Ph.D, David Handler, Founder/The Coach, Success Handler, LLC; Franchise Expert and Author; Joe Mathews, CFE and Founding Partner, FPG.; Dave Hood, President, The iFranchise Group; Rick Arevalo, President, Aussie Pet Mobile; Brian Spindel, President & COO, Postnet Postal & Business Services; and Dan Steward, President, Pillar to Post.

The entire series will be focused on topics ranging from overcoming the psychology of fear in your franchisees, to creating a top-tier franchise support system, as well as tips for improving your own performance as a franchisor. The series is guaranteed to enhance your company’s operations and the help grow the number of franchisees. The sessions are live and recorded on Wednesdays, September 2nd, 9th, and 16th at 1pm ET and Thursdays, September 3rd, 10th, and 17th at 4pm ET.

The Franchise Performance Webinar Series is targeted to CEOs, COOs, Directors of Operations, franchise support staff, franchisees and anyone else charged with building franchise unit performance and profitability.
